Agua Dulce is approx. 15 km east of Minatitlan. If you need a place to stay before crossing the border into Tabasco, this might be a reasonable choice. .It's located on the Tonalñ River in an area heavily forested withtropical evergreens and palms.While the region was conquered by Moctezuma in 1456, the history of Agua Dulce as a community only dates back to 1911.
